DMAC Newsletter: the Hawk

All members of the Deeside MAC receive a monthly copy of the Club newsletter, the Hawk (so called in recognition of the Club's original, but now unused, title of the Heswall Hawks).

In addition to Club notices and the minutes of Committee Meetings, the Hawk includes news items, photographs, equipment reviews, technical articles and humorous items submitted by the membership of the Deeside MAC. The fact that the newsletter is usually between 10 and 15 A4 pages in length is a reflection of the high level of support that it receives from the membership, and it provides an invaluable means of ensuring that all Club members are kept informed of current events.

Newsletter Editors please note:

Although a high proportion of the content of the Hawk is necessarily devoted to matters relating directly to the Deeside MAC, many of the more generalised articles may be of interest to a much wider readership in the aeromodelling community. Items such as kit or engine reviews, technical and "how to" articles, and reports on modelling or aviation events attended by DMAC members are suitable for reproduction in other club newsletters.

If you are interested in the possibility of entering into a reciprocal exchange arrangement for such items, please contact me at the email address given at the foot of this page.

As time permits, I hope to make a selection of suitable articles available for direct download from this page.
