Just an 'original' member passing through. Flew with 'Berni' and the Body's from Heswall. Also member of Wallasey MAC. John Done & John Hannay's names spring to mind. Don't model these days; race Morgan Three Wheelers instead. Good to see the club has flourished as I sometimes despair that today's kids do not seem interested in modelling. It gave me a good start in life. I now restore Morgan Three Wheelers for a living. If anyone remembers me and would like to get in touch please do. Good luck for the future. Bob Angell (the flyer).

I am a RC modeler and will be traveling to the Chester area next week on business. Unfortunately, I will not have any planes with me, but I would love to visit your field and observe your club in action. If a visit is appropriate, please send directions to your field with days and times that your members are typically flying.

Thanks for the invitation to your anniversary bash. I will be in New Jersey USA on the 2nd, I would have really enjoyed coming along. There is no contact phone number on John Lee's letter. There are too many J Lees in the phone book to try them all. Please pass my thanks to John. I will be back Fri 15/9/00. I would love to come and fly as a guest some time if this is OK. Do you have a fly in? I'll come if invited and drag along some our guys. We do a fly in every year, usually in the Spring, but seldom see Heswall members. How come? We would make you welcome. I am a neanderthal - no e'mail! Phone no: 0151 630 1475. Regards to all my old buddies, especially the guys who did all the displays in the 70s and 80s. We had a lot of fun! Still do, but into RC now, favouring aerobatics and scale (preferably both!). My pattern ship died of mid-air at Leigh a few weeks ago. I am flying a P51D, I have a Sea Vixen close to finishing and 30% CAP 232 waiting its turn. Look forward to hearing from you. Colin Martin

Belting site Andy - just like the Mag pithy witty & very straight to the point. The trigger words must be good as I was searching for Heswall Crematorium Requisites Ltd., at the time. (Do a good line in flight boxes.... Just ask for Henry Norman & mention my name) Must go as the dog was chewing my foot and I hadn't noticed!

I am new to the sport but have built and own three models, but have yet to get around to flying! Many thanks for an excellent site. I know I have a lot to learn but that's the fun I'm looking forward to. I'm 57 or is it 37. I first built model aircraft as a teenager. How on earth did we afford them? I'm now about to regress to a happier age and start flying again, so the experts say, so here's to regression! Regards Mike. Many thanks, see you again.
